1988 – 5 Girls & a boy meet in Bremen north Germany & start a band first called „Scraps“.

1989 – On tour through the U.S.S.R with a lethuanian band called „Bix“ in Moscow, Vilnius & Kaunas. Gila, the saxophonist leaves the band shortly after.

1990 – Live gig for a TV show on the 2d German chanel ZDF.

1991 – Baby break. Lea & Lisa are pregnant. Clive the only boy and 2d guitarist takes the opportunity to quit.

1992Moni (drums), Lisa (voc.,guit), Meike (bass) & Lea (voc, keybd, guit.) on tour in north Germany.

1993 – The band renames itself “Linda Potatoes“ (the band’s favorite type of potato). First single realease “I'm your heart /Kind of a man” (avalaible on Download-Shops since 2006 ).

1994- Gitarrist Lisa leaves Germany & the band - Kacky replaces her.

1995 – Monthly touring around Germany & Switzerland. Specially with Die Braut haut ins Auge (from Hamburg/Germany) & Thee Ultra Bimboos (Helsinki/Finland)

1996 - »Poohdl«-a short CD with 6 songs is out on “One Million Dollar Records“ (since 2006 on Download-Shops avalaible) March: touring in NYC- USA. Gigs at CBGB's (special thank to Hilly Kristal).

1997 – Shortly after Moni quits the band. Biggi hits the snare from now on.

1998 – Recordings in Bremen with producer Genya Ravan & manager Hilly Kristal. Some songs from this sessions are avalaible on Download-Shops since 2006 .

1999 - Kacky leaves the band. Lea, Meike & Biggy still have fun until …

2000 - „Linda Potatoes“ split. A new band is reformed a few month later called “S.O.L.“ the members are: Meike (drums, voc), Sylke (bass, voc) & Lea (voc, guit.)
